Java Developer (Web 2.0) up to £35k, London

My client are a leading operator in the social media space, and hence have a significant online presence. They require a new Java Developer to take on the responsibility for managing infrastructure and developing code.

You will be creating tools and platforms, take responsibility for the User Interface and back end development. It is essential that you will have experience in using Java 5EE, XML, HTML and JBoss – as well as MySQL 5.

The big thing that will set you apart – Social Media. You will be familiar with building Facebook apps, Google Widgets and styling HTML with CSS – and you just have to know why they Twitter and Blog and sit on Facebook.

You will have 2-5 years commercial experience – either incorporating your degree in a relevant computer science, or in a commercial environment – so if even if you are a Graduate with 6 months experience – please apply if you have the skills.

Salary up to £35,000 (very much dependent on experience), and based in Central London
