Senior Web Designer/Developer £35-40k, Chichester

This an outstanding opportunity for an highly experienced Creative Web Designer & Developer to play a key role in a new division of a global publishing company.

The division has been set up to project manage initiatives to drive forward digital projects for the Group companies, and part of that brief is to enhance the capabilities and interactivity of the Group companies’ website and online presence, including building interactive virtual communities.

The person who takes on this role will be responsible for project managing web design and development initiatives. Supporting the Marketing departments and their agenda’s and infiltrating web prowess and technical know-how, you will create user friendly, dynamic and graphically appealing web content and imagery for a designated audience consistent with the group brands.

You will be an enthusiatic Web developer who loves to get to grips with change in web dynamics and can apply these effectively to existing web presence and in coordination with marketing desires. Communication skills will be essential, to evaluate all stakeholder needs and apply accordingly with the insight of your technical skills.

Your skill set will include XML, XHTML, RSS, JavaScript, ActionScript, HTML, CSS plus Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver and PaintShop.

Experience of working with the development and management of virtual communities is very desirable.

Salary £35-40,000 dep on experience.
