Online Community Manager c£35k, London

My client; an integral cog in the Computer Games industry; are looking to build on their expanding Online presence with the addition of an experienced Online Community Manager in London.

This is a fantastic role for the multi-talented Online expert – someone who can blog & write engagingly, be the master of some technical SEO rules and tagging & keywords, and be fluent and communicative on Social Media platforms.

Key responsibilities:

• Active and regular blogging and content production
• Interaction and conversational development minute by minute, on online communities in Social Media and CG forums
• Execute SEO and PPC activity to enhance the company’s profile and visibility
• Building social communities and engagement from CG professionals and graduates
• Manage their Facebook presence and be active in new ideas for increased engagement
• Be the eyes and ears for the brand
• Interact with PR & SEO agencies
• Optimization of tags on various online zones such as YouTube, Flickr etc.
• Manage and track Link-building campaigns
• Stay on top of social media developments and contribute to social media development and strategy

The person who takes on this role have experienced all the above. The hybrid who can be an expert writer as well having the technical knowhow of SEO, Web & social media platforms is essential. Naturally, even better would be if the person had experience in; or an avid interest in; computer gaming. If not – an interest in graphics, art, design , etc is going to be beneficial.

Based in Central London

Salary £35,000
