Leading Communications agency in central London are recruiting a Head of Social Media/Digital, to play an instrumental role in the maintenance, development and growth of the Social/Digital function in their agency.
The Head of Social will report to the board and be of a calibre to be effective in driving their presence forward with a clear focus and entrepreneurial vision, whilst ensuring that major clients such as Microsoft & TGI’s are given the highest class of service.
Managing a team of specialists, this person will be the focal point for Digital – responsible for ensuring the effective management of community, trends monitoring and campaign management activities – whilst leading Digital marketing strategy and tactical direction with expertise, and gravitas with both internal and client contacts.
Key involvement in:
- Digital vision
- Identifying key business opportunities for Digital with major brands
- Strategic project management and delivery oversight
- Monitor trends & developments across the Digital sector
- Consult on Digital intervention in new business pitches
- Develop the product for Digital & Social Media
The person will be:
- Highly experienced Social Media specialist
- Adept at applying Digital disciplines to PR & Communications
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial
- Proven success in Digital/Social Media leadership
- A Social Media `walker`… not a `talker`
- In depth knowledge of Social Media platforms and channels
Based Central London.
Salary in the £50-70k range dependent on experience.
