Client Account Director – Social Media £60-80k, London

My client is one of the most respected growing social media agencies in London, having undertaken some innovative social media marketing campaigns for some household name brands. Due to expansion they are looking to enhance their Client Services offering with the appointment of a Client Account Director, to play an active part in developing their client relationships.

The Account Director will forge close and strong partnerships with the agency’s key clients – providing influential market insight, creative guidance and being the port of call for client needs.

Leading a small team – this person will inspire effective delivery of each day to day component of social media programmes, and ensure information delivery to the client is top notch.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Grow the client portfolio revenues to reach gross profit goals by thoroughly understand the fundamentals of the client’s business.
• Inspire, coach and lead your team.
• Using your well honed consultancy skills, develop social media strategies for your clients that deliver measureable results.
• Oversee high quality delivery of social media initiatives for your clients by working closely with the production, community management and technical teams
• Manage and influence senior-level client contacts and maintain positive working relationships.
• Deliver regular feedback, analysis and reporting to the client to demonstrate how its social media initiatives are adding value to the brand
• Remain up to date on all aspects of brand digital marketing and how social media fits into this

It is considered that you will of course had 3+ years within account management a social media/digital agency looking after blue chip clients, or worked within a significant brand in such a role.

You will possess astute strategic thinking in the social media realm, combined with analytical and creative prowess – but of course client relationship skills, likability, team-leadership and a broad business network are essential.
