Fantastic company in Cambridge are looking for a Social Media Specialist to take a leading role in the management & strategic direction of their Digital and Social Media Strategy and the social media marketing team.
As the leader of this department, you will head up a team of 5 and champion the global acquisition social marketing strategy and take full responsibility for driving traffic, users and revenue to their portfolio of games through large scale digital marketing and social marketing campaigns.
The successful candidate will be a highly experienced digital and social media marketing professional with extensive experience ( UK & globally) and evidence of developing and executing online and social marketing strategies using various digital marketing channels.
You will be a strategic thinker as well as a deliverer of these strategies and you will also have a deep understanding of traffic-to-revenue generation and ROI strategies in this exciting, emerging field.
The successful candidate will also be someone who is fully competent with the analysis of data and conversations collected online. You will need to have a passion for analysing facts, figures and trends and presenting the insight found in a digestible format at board level.
Role Responsibilities
- Establish integrated social media engagement strategies to ensure engagement with target audience / relevant markets
- Responsible for social media marketing strategy, execution & measurement
- Create and execute innovative and effective online marketing campaigns, refining in real time based on in depth analytics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with groups, stakeholders, external partners and suppliers
- Interfacing with internal teams where necessary
- Identify opportunities in new and existing markets to grow user base
- Work with team heads / board to implement a company wide social media policy
- Fully manage the Social Media Marketing department and deliver on set targets ensuring a high ROI
A creative thinker who has history of solid problem solving, with excellent written and verbal communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
Paying up £50-70k with an excellent benefits package including annual bonus, private health care, gym and other benefits.
An interest in gaming is preferable.
