Lead Web Developer £35-40k, Work from home

Our client is an exciting and innovative start-up in the online recruitment market, and provide some groundbreaking methods in matching great people to great jobs.

They require a Lead Developer who will effectively be the CTO designate.

This person will be at the forefront of assuring the successful execution of the company’s business mission through development and deployment of the company’s web presence. This requires envisioning the company’s service offerings as a web-based business, leading implementation of web applications, and planning for risk and growth.

Working closely with the company’s founders and with entrepreneurial spirit, the Lead Developer will be at the heart of Strategy & Planning, aware of the market trends and competitor existence, the technology opportunities at hand, and striving for innovation and maximum integration with social trends.

This person will also lead the Implementation and Deployment of the product; working closely with clients and the UX Developer to create wire-frames and mock-ups; that match the needs of the of the market. You will need to demonstrate experience of developing `match` algorithms – as this is fundamental to the operation of the site.

More than all this, this person has the opportunity to play a significant part in the vision of the company, it’s aims for technological superiority and innovation in an industry that needs to be inspired.

You will need to possess a significant history in Web Development in a business solutions environment, with over 5 years in web application development, and ideally you will have worked with a start-up company – to understand the dynamics involved and the challenges presented within the excitement of the growing business.

Salary £35-40,000

Home Based – though ideally located in Leeds to Manchester zone.
