Senior Account Manager (Social Media) £35-40k, London

My client are  looking for an experienced, results-driven Senior Account Manager – reporting in to the Head of Social Media, they’re looking for a pivotal new member to join the team to strengthen and develop the agency’s larger digital and social media capability. You will play a key role in improving the team’s processes and skill base.

You’ll be passionate and knowledgeable about everything social media with a proven track record of delivering innovative social media strategies and campaigns with outstanding results.

Your responsibilities will include looking after some of the agency’s key high profile accounts and building a long-term profitable relationship with them. While also playing an active role in helping the team pitch for and win new accounts. It’s an exciting opportunity in a growing social media team within a dynamic agency environment.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• A thorough working knowledge and understanding of social media and the wider digital landscape
• Highly organised and sound project management skills
• A track record of delivering exciting social media campaigns with newsworthy results
• Entreupreuneurial flair and sound commercial and negotiation skills
• Ability to provide social media counsel at a very senior level
• Bigger picture thinking and key contributor to developing and delivering winning ideas
• Good contacts and positive relationships within the industry, with the networks and  a host of suppliers
• Strong proposal, presentation drafting  and pitching skills
• Impeccable client handling skills
• Team player and motivator
• Line managing experience

Based in Central London with a salary of c£35-40,000 dependent on experience.
