Marketing Officer (6 month contract) £23-26k, Brighton

Brighton based Education establishment is looking to recruit a Marketing Officer in a 6 month contract, to cover a secondment.

This person will primarily be responsible for:
- Identify, plan and implement a range of marketing activities for the business unit.
- Undertake market research and analyze data to inform marketing activity and evaluate marketing activity ensuring findings influence future marketing
- Manage the budget relating to marketing; ensure that marketing activity is implemented within budget, that targets are met and value for money achieved
- Actively participate in the Marketing and Communications teams, making a positive contribution to team-wide issues and ensuring marketing work is joined-up with other marketing initiatives.

The suitable person will be an experienced marketing professional with a broad experience mix within communications structure. You will have a good understanding of building marketing strategy, plans and campaigns – plus the materials involved, and the budget/financial restraints.
You must also be an excellent analyst – experienced in using it to progress and shape marketing activity.

This is a 6 month contract based on the outskirts of Brighton. Own transport is beneficial.

Salary c£23,000 to £26,500 in range.
