Social Media Manager £30-35k, London

Part of a larger dynamic PR & Communications agency; this growing social media arm now have the need for an experienced Social Media Manager to support the Social Director in maximising client campaigns, and managing the processes required to ensure effective execution.
This will be a fast-paced and forward thinking environment, and requires someone is very much on the ball with social media developments, new ideas and platforms – and also will hold a sure understanding of measurement and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities and Competencies
- Contribute to high-quality, client-ready research reports within a specific time frame
- Interpret data using proprietary technology to provide insightful and actionable information to clients
- Identify new and interesting sites to include in analyses
- Perform both quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Participate in client and internal account team calls, offering insights and information where applicable
- Meet internal and external project deadlines to ensure client satisfaction
- Manage projects on a day-to-day basis
- Implement listening queries in social media measurement tools to monitor “brand-specific” online conversation in target relevant sites
- Project setup including researching relevant organisations, markets and brands, preparing and conducting searches and setting up social profiles
- Maintain familiarity with social media tools
- Community management for key clients
The experience required will be c2 years managing social media profiles, tracking analytics (using tools such as Brandwatch, Alterian, Radian6), blogger and influencer outreach, and excellent writing skills. Excellent research skills, and data management will be important also – underlined by a passion for organisation.
Salary is £30-35,000, and based in London W1
